2026 Boom Awards- Economic Development

The 2026 Boom Awards recognize a business or business leader who has contributed to the Jeffersontown area economy through exceptional business practices and customer service. The company (or business leader) must have demonstrated community involvement through economic development, community projects and/or business growth.

The Boom Awards are reviewed and selected by a committee of the Jeffersontown Chamber. The committee and the Chamber agree to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality with respect to information that is not in the public domain. Nominees receiving an honorable mention in each category are recognized and the winners are announced at the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Jeffersontown Chamber.

There is no cost to apply for a Boom Award.

Self-nominations are welcome.

Membership in the Jeffersontown Chamber is required.

If a nominee appears to better qualify for a different category, the Jeffersontown Chamber reserves the right to move the entry to a more suitable category.

Economic Development (Job Growth) Award– recognizes a company that has created at least 10 new jobs in 2025, expanded its current location, and has had significant revenue growth compared to the two years prior. The winner of this award is also actively engaged in the community through various contributions and community development.
